Tamu is committed to maintaining a platform where all users feel safe. This policy outlines our approach to preventing harm and responding to safety incidents.
We prohibit content that incites violence, harassment, hate speech, explicit sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate media, and content that endangers health or safety.
We use a combination of AI moderation and human review teams to enforce our policies. Reports are triaged by priority with defined SLAs. High-severity reports (CSAM, violence, imminent danger) are actioned within 1 hour.
Any content that sexualises minors results in immediate permanent account termination and a report to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement agencies.
We cooperate with law enforcement when legally required. We publish a transparency report annually detailing the nature and volume of requests received.
Users can appeal moderation decisions within 30 days via the in-app appeal flow or at appeals@tamu.social.
